Nestled in the heart of the farmland surrounding Elmore, Ohio lies Schedel Arboretum and Gardens. The moment we stepped foot on the premises, our jaws actually dropped. Acres of blooming greenery, bold flowers, and unique sculpture art cover the grounds, and it’s nearly impossible to find a spot that wouldn’t make an incredible backdrop for wedding photography and videography. We could seriously spend days shooting there and still find new, gorgeous spots for photos. It is 110% more than worth the trip!
Jeremy and Izzy must have had the same reaction when they toured the venue, because that’s where they decided to tie the knot. Their guests were free to explore the dreamy gardens during cocktail hour and throughout the evening we saw everyone having mini cell phone photoshoots in front of the waterfalls, bridges, and sculptures. We LOVE weddings with an amazing guest experience, and it would hard pressed to NOT have an incredible time at Schedel Arboretum and Gardens.
The couple themselves were dream clients - caring, positive, fun, and head over heels in love with each other! Izzy and Jeremy met in high school after they connected over their shared love of the show The Office. As if they couldn’t be more perfect, during our consultation they told us how important their wedding photography and videography was to them because they knew it would be a return ticket back to a moment otherwise lost to memory. This is something EVERY wedding photographer/videographer wants to hear.
When the clock struck midnight on their wedding night, it turned into their 8 year anniversary. After 8 years of growing together and “making promises along the way” (as Izzy said in her vows!), they have cultivated the kind of love only possible when two souls grow together, and their development is shaped by their love for one another.
